What is this yoga workshop all about?
Spring is the perfect time to embrace renewal and rejuvenation, and what better way to do so than with a restorative yoga workshop, taught live and in person. Carefully designed and facilitated by an experienced teacher, you will experience deep relaxation to tap into your body’s natural ability to heal and rejuvenate. You will be guided to let go of what’s no longer needed, creating space for energy and vitality to make the most of the months ahead.
This will take place in Tech Amergin, Waterville, Co Kerry. So why not join me on Sunday, April 2nd to experience the transformative power of restorative yoga? You’ll leave feeling refreshed, revitalized, and ready to embrace the season ahead.
What is Restorative Yoga?
Restorative yoga is a powerful practice that supports the body’s natural healing processes. By using props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks, you will be able to find a comfortable and supportive position for each pose, enabling you to hold each posture for longer periods of time. This allows your body to fully relax, release tension, and restore balance. Most of the poses are lying down or seated.
During the workshop, you will also be guided through a series of gentle poses that focus on opening the heart and chest, which can help to improve circulation, boost the immune system, and increase energy levels. You will also practice some simple breathing exercises, carefully chosen to calm the mind, reduce anxiety, and improve overall wellbeing.
Is this workshop only for fit and flexible young yogis?
Not at all! Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, this workshop, “Spring into Vitality” is the perfect opportunity to take some time for yourself and reconnect with your body and mind. There is no need to have any yoga experience and all genders, ages, sizes and shapes are very welcome.
There will be plenty of time to move between postures and everyone will have a chair for extra support. I also encourage everyone to bring plenty of blankets and cushions to make lying on the floor comfortable as possible. If you have any concerns about your ability to participate in this workshop, please give me a call on 0871671315.
What will happen during the workshop?
I will first guide you through some gently seated movements, then we’ll move into supported poses, all lying down. You’ll have plenty of time to get up and down from the floor, and there will be chairs to help you if needed.
This will be followed by a warm drink and a homemade treat (mostly gluten free and vegan). We’ll finish with some simple breathing exercises then yoga nidra (a lying, guided meditation) to leave you feeling rested and your energy restored. We’ll aim to finish around 6pm but may go a little over. When everyone is so relaxed, I hate to disturb you all 🙂
All for just €35! Spaces are limited and expected to fill fast. Please click below to book today if you’d like to experience deep rest and relaxation with me.
