From Wednesday 30th September – Tuesday 6th October 2026, I’ll be returning to the idyllic Spanish mountain retreat centre Valle De Vida in South Spain. €600 to secure your space – balance due 1st September (€595). Booking late? Get in touch – I can be flexible on the balance date.
Book my space ->“Peaceful. Peaceful is the best way to describe Louise’s yoga retreat in Spain. And when do we ever get that much peace? From the early morning yoga sessions high up on the deck overlooking the Andalucian mountains, to the incredible homemade food, every day was just wonderful. I left the retreat a calmer, happier person last year and I cannot wait to do the same again in October. Highly recommend!” Sian W

Hi, I’m Lou 👋
I teach yoga in South Kerry — weekly classes, workshops, and once a year I take a small group somewhere sunny. This is my second year at Valle de Vida, and I keep going back because it works: the food is extraordinary, the valley is genuinely quiet, and something magical happens to people by about day three.

I trained with Dave Charlton & Ranju Roy at Sadhana Mala in the UK and I’ve been teaching nearly 14 years. All levels are welcome in my classes, and I mean that properly — I teach a lot of people who came to yoga late, or after an injury, or who were convinced they weren’t “a yoga person.”
What I care about on retreat is that you actually rest. Not that you achieve anything. There’s no pressure to do every class, no early-morning heroics, and nobody’s checking whether you can touch your toes. I hope you can join me.
Lou x

The food is fantastic! All cooked from scratch, plenty of goodness and plenty of deliciousness – you don’t have to lift a finger. Just your plate to fill it with salads, fresh baked bread, paella….

All meals will be cooked and provided for you. Accommodation is dotted around the site so you can choose whether you will soak up the feeling of being in nature from a teepee or select a room in the renovated Cortijo (additional charge applies for indoor rooms).
“Going on retreat to Malaga with Louise last year, set me up for a winter of wellness. The days included great food, belly laughs, massages and a daily yoga practice.
The venue is secluded and peaceful. With a refreshing salt water pool, sauna and secret nooks to snooze & read. I’m going again this year !” Michelle D

Optional day trips
A day in Malaga (€25 approx)
Culture, wandering & tapas – We’ll get you to the train station and from there it’s a short ride into the heart of one of Spain’s most vibrant cities. Spend the day as you please — the Picasso Museum, the old town, the markets, a long lunch by the beach, or simply a coffee in a sunny plaza watching the world go by.
Lunch is on you, which is half the fun. Malaga has brilliant food at every price point. We’ll arrange a meet-up time and get you back for the evening meal.
A day in the Andalucian countryside (€20)
On the Monday morning of the retreat, we will arrange transport to the beautiful whitewashed village of Alora for market day! Wander round the market, sit down with a coffee and we’ll bring you back in time for a late lunch at Valle de Vida.

Wondering if this is for you?
- “I’d be coming on my own.” Most people do. Honestly — the majority of the group each year books solo, and they don’t stay strangers past the first dinner. You will not be the odd one out.
- “Who would I be sharing with?” The shared rooms and pods are women-only, and I match people up myself. If you’re coming with a friend, tell me and I’ll put you together. If you’d rather have your own space, there’s a single supplement — just say.
- “I’m not very bendy / I haven’t done yoga in ages.” Grand. Genuinely. I teach to the room, there are always options, and nobody is watching you. If you can breathe and get on and off the floor, you’re sorted. If you’ve an injury or something you’re working around, drop me a line beforehand and we’ll plan for it.
- “Do I have to go to everything?” Not at all. Skip a class and sleep. Skip a day trip and sit by the pool. It’s your week — I’d genuinely rather you rested than dragged yourself to a 5.30pm class out of guilt.
- “What if I have a question that isn’t here?” Email me Louise@Louiseyoga.com and ask. I’d much rather have a chat than have you talk yourself out of it. 💛
