What are the classes like?
I keep the classes simple so anyone can join, even if they haven’t done any yoga before. We move with the breath to ease out our bodies and calm the mind.
At the end of class I always include a relaxation session as we listen to the sound of birds, gentle breezes and the waves of the Atlantic ocean. Always worth bringing a blanket to stay warm for this one.
See what one of my students has to say:
“One of the highlights for me this Summer was yoga with Louise. I hadn’t done yoga before and I found the classes were educational and relaxing. I enjoyed being at one with nature, whether it was the sound of the waves, or the birds chirping. Looking forward to next Summer already.” Carmel W
Where are the yoga classes held?
The classes will be in either Waterville, Cahersiveen, Ballinskelligs or Caherdaniel – details on how to find the exact location will be sent in your confirmation email.
We either practice on grass overlooking the water or on the sand, when it’s soft and dry. Comfort is very important to me and I want you to have a lovely, stress-free experience!
Are the classes suitable for me?
The classes are straightforward and relatively gentle, therefore they are suitable for beginners and all levels of fitness. The only thing to be aware of is that the ground is uneven so it can be challenging for those who have issues with balance. There is also a walk of 5 minutes or so to get to most of our yoga spots. If you have accessibility issues, please contact me and I will recommend the best spot for you.
When booking you are given the opportunity to share any health information that might impact on your ability to practice yoga, but do get in touch before the class if you have any questions or concerns.
Yoga Mats and Props
Don’t have a mat? Don’t worry, a towel or blanket and a cushion will do just fine. Extra layers and a blanket are always nice for the relaxation session at the end of each class. I’m afraid I’m not able to provide mats or props although I sometimes have new mats you can purchase for cost price. Please ask in advance as I don’t bring them with me unless needed.
Are you running outdoor classes all summer in 2023?
Yes! As long as the weather’s warm and sunny. I run a WhatsApp group to annnounce classes when the forecast is good. Please let me know your phone number if you’d like to be added to the group, and you’ll be the first to hear about the week’s classes. You can send me a WhatsApp directly on 0871671315.
For all the latest news please head over to my Facebook page or Instagram where you can also get in touch with any questions about my teaching or classes. I’m always happy to hear from you!
I hope to see you for an outdoor yoga class very soon!

“I was lucky enough to attend Louise’s yoga class on the beach at Derrynane and Waterville this summer and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Louise’s lovely Welsh lilt is music to the ears and the class is suitable for all. Can’t wait for the next one.”
